Webuzo Database Setup Checklist (Prevents Error 1044)

In Webuzo / cPanel, creating a database and creating a MySQL user are two separate operations. To grant access:

  1. Open Webuzo Control Panel → Database → Manage Databases.
  2. Ensure Database skymareesteele_db and User skymareesteele_db are created.
  3. Scroll down to "Add User to Database": select user skymareesteele_db, select database skymareesteele_db.
  4. Check the "ALL PRIVILEGES" box and click Submit.

Database Connection Parameters:

Usually localhost or 127.0.0.1

Check if Webuzo added a prefix (e.g. skymaree_...)

The MySQL user granted privileges on the database

Default: ##SkyBird123##
